You see zero signs of any prolonged cold the rest of the month. Looks like a backloaded winter is on tap. Hopefully a wet and cool Feb/March to deliver a healthy Mountain snowpack
and
Key words from above
"zero signs"
"looks like"
"hopefully"
showing a lack of confidence, and understandably so
all in all,
range can deliver pretty much anything. I wouldnt be surprised with a cold shot sometime later this month
, going against The Nito
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

If even that. For all we know, this winter could bust. La Niña can and does fail and unfortunately, our current climate is not like the 50's and 60's.

The 18Z GFS has gone back to a less extreme 48hr deluge with a trajectory favourable for the heavier rains targeting Victoria and Abbotsford.

Just doesn't happen in our climate nowadays....just like early December or January snowfalls.

I was right. It’s gonna rain!
That and last weekend I put my snow tires on to kill any chance of snow this month.
