More mild rain in the extended :dancepine:  :dancepine:

Would be very rotten news for the ski hills.

I was worried it would be too cold in Vanderhoof and now I am worried it will be too warm. Ugh

January will be your usually ridgy/split flow month with an AR or two.

Early to mid Feb will see a few slushy/sleety snowfalls.

00z GFS ensembles look a touch cooler than the OP run. Chilly onshore flow signal beginning on Tuesday with staying power for a couple weeks. Similar mid-to-late December patterns for us in recent years include 2012, 2015, and 2017.

I’m not saying it’s not going to crap but THAT in particular looks hard to believe. I never trusted the gfs epic runs.

Euro doesn't look all that bad in the extended.

Pcs are still kinda there.

Lots to work out still I'm hoping. We've seen things come and go during setups like this in the past.

Just a terrible set of 00z runs tonight.

A cold and snowy Christmas is slipping away unless things change over the next couple of days.

Yes, this is my only straw to grasp at. The ingredients are there, but they are just so frustratingly several notches away. :problem:

The signs it was a gfs mirage were always kind of there. It’s an intoxicating drug that gfs.
