Another trash media...
First snow-free winter in 43 years?
In 1982-83, 3.8 cm of snow fell... in April. Tell them!
No winter saw ZERO snow. Record low is a trace in 1957-58. I made a tweet about that a few days ago.

The sun hasn't really materialized around here. Mostly cloudy yesterday and today, and even a bit of rain yesterday evening... trace to maybe 1 mm depending on where I was driving.
Fall/Winter 2025/26
Low min: -5.0C (Feb 20th)
Low max: 2.8C (Feb 19th)
Snowfall: 3 cm

I think they get out of that on a technicality.
The key word is
winter. April is not a winter month.
If the only snow in the 82-83 cold season fell in April, there was no winter snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.
