and at best appears to be a nice Slushfestival anyways
The forecast models this morning are killing the idea of a Mountain snow setup and are bringing back the ridging/mild rain by mid-late Feb. Eastern Canada goes back into the icebox.

The key word is winter. April is not a winter month.

If the only snow in the 82-83 cold season fell in April, there was no winter snow.
Yep, but there was a trace of snow during DJF 1982-83.
Anyway, snow season makes much more sense.

Noticed some offshore flow this morning. Already 12.6C... also a lot more sun today than yesterday, so 16C definitely feels possible.

Yeah, I lived in Quebec City at this time. Extremely cold and dry. Tons of snow in New England.

YXX reported a noontime temp of 13.9˚C. Probably won’t make it to Nito’s forecast 20, but 15+ seems easily doable.

Wintertime heat waves are a thing there. I remember one Christmas break circa 1980 in Santa Barbara when the high temps were mostly 30+˚C.
