Nice. I was doing a little tour with my band at the time in the Rockies and it was COLD. Missed the dump here but we sure drove in it.

I believe in 2023 it was right around this time we got a huge dump, widespread 25 cm.

I'm still highly skeptical and based on how this winter has unfolded, I would fully expect the cold to go east of the rockies. But who knows. March 2002 repeat?

There was 1 foot of snow in Abbotsford in March 2002.

If I'm going to seriously consider a 300hr+ model solution, it will only be if the AIFS is showing it. Even at that, it's still fantasy at that range.

Time for 1 foot of snow and THEN Spring. I saw a Spring forecast showing equal chances for temperatures for BC but above normal precipitation.
