Not sure what team I'm on anymore but I wouldn't mind a few days of +20C and sunshine so I can drink outside.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Thats a good sign if Gimps has snow it'll snow out this way for awhile. It's funny some will look back on this event and say meh, others will embrace it as excellent entertainment.

Is the atmosphere really struggling to saturate? It usually doesn't take this long for heavier precip to reach surface...

Could be ,the snow I had petered out, but according to radar the thicker stuff could be a couple of hrs away if it doesn't fizzle out , time for bed.
Fwiw dp still at -4.

Weather Forum Cycle:

1. Watch models
2. Fantasize about epic snow on the way for weeks and weeks
3. Finally get snow
4. Don't really enjoy snow as it happens and continue to look at models for future days hoping for even more snow
5. Dread the end of the cold snap daily
6. Look for any model that could possibly show the other 8 are wrong about the warmup and rain
7. Get depressed about warm temperatures and complain no matter how much snow you have on the ground

Repeat
