Ah. Forgive me for misreading the intent. It appeared to me that you were somewhat passive-aggressively advocating for a ban by questioning whether anyone else has requested it. I apologise for the mistake.

Seemed like the GFS had come down to earth with those Monday temps for a while but it's back to showing 42-45c in eastern metro van and the Fraser Valley and upper 40s south of the Puget sound. Obviously those kind of temps aren't going to verify but it is interesting to see now it's only 72hrs away.

I was just about to say, it seems pretty bullish for Monday after the brief retreat.

Might as well post the 18Z Euro for those wanting to make their heatwave contest entries. ;)

I'd say it's the hottest run yet judging by that 40 hovering over downtown Vancouver

You are free to believe what you want but you are not entitled automatic respect for whatever you believe. That is just a childish demand for a participation trophy under another guise.
This isn't reddit.

Geezus. :wtf:
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

For YVR.

June record : 18.8°C.
All-time record : 22.4°C.

Monday is gonna be a tough call. But if that thermal trough is overhead during peak heating it’s gonna be nuts.
