So far the evening temperature drop is slower than a sardine swimming through molasses.

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Does anyone have any idea why it can get so humid in Whatcom County and the Lower Mainland (compared to Seattle) during heat waves? On the American forum, someone pointed out how high the dew points were forecast to be up this way. I sort of wrote that off as an oddity that wouldn’t verify. But it has, and apparently it got oppressively sticky in 2009 as well. So there must be something going on.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Not a surprise, given the humidity. Water vapor is an extremely potent greenhouse gas (much more so than COâ‚‚).Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 9:34 pm So far the evening temperature drop is slower than a sardine swimming through molasses.

25°C outside, 29°C inside. Tent is up and ready for use. Think sleeping outdoors is going to be a real win for the next few nights.
Dew point 21°C.

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Still 31c at 9:45pm on both my thermometers. Disgusting.
Allergy season in full bloom as well.
28c in the house.
Hey guys there is some type of infestation of bugs outside right now all over the neighbourhood. These flying bugs are only swarming leafy plants and trees. Not cedars or evergreens. They are rust coloured and are slightly smaller than a bumble be and make a buzzing sound slightly lower than a bumblebee. Never saw this before, it's gross. They won't land so I can get a look at them but they seem to fly slow. Is it some type of beetle?

It's in the shade...under a tree... And the sun has gone down, but yes, maybe that's my problem.
