Back to Sunny for the long weekend, no problems with this! Hopefully we get the rainfall we need, this could be our last chance going into the summer to at least set back the wildfire season. As we all know though, it only takes a few days of strong heat to get that going.

I'll believe it when I see it. This unsettled stretch so far has brought us somewhat coolish temps but not much moisture. I doubt we'll get much in the next few days either. Sheriff Goose should be just fine when his relatives arrive.

If you live in an igloo, what's the worst thing about global warming?

Two planets meet. The first one asks: "How are you?"
"Not so well", the second answered "I've got the Homo Sapiens."
"Don't worry," the other replied, "I had the same. That won't last long."

Low streamflows are evident across the south coast. Especially Vancouver Island.
