Had no idea about the Falls lake route. I thought the road ended or closed off at the Falls lake parking lot. Was it rough and 4 wheel drive required?

At the top of the Falls Lake lot, there is a pretty rough service road. It goes up and around the Dry Gulch and takes you down to the Upper Coldwater FSR.

This is why I haven’t jumped on any bandwagon. You never know with our winters.
