Very wet snow, but at sea level in Parksville. 500meters away from the beach it's still wet snow, but less goopy

Cold splatty rain here as well.

Good ole fashioned wet coast winter weather.

At the top of the Falls Lake lot, there is a pretty rough service road. It goes up and around the Dry Gulch and takes you down to the Upper Coldwater FSR.

Feeling less and less confident about December. Once that Alaska vortex takes hold it takes forever to knock it off.

Getting real 07-08 winter vibes. Could be agonizingly disappointing at sea level. Who knows though.

If we're lucky the skies might clear for tonight's eclipse. It should be a good one. It's the longest one in 6 centuries and we see it perfectly.
