Already grasping at straws here but this is the run to run change in the GEM ensemble. Will keep an eye on the EPS coming out and hope for good things. That being cold preferably but also dry. I could live with cold drizzle or a foggy inversion pattern too.

Thanks.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 9:51 pm Appears absolutely nothing but name only, easy to set up wifi as well.
I think ambient has an app. so you can see your readings when your away.
But there's a work around to do the same with Ecowitt that was easy, l got Ecowitt because of the 3 piece unit l don't think ambient has a 3 piece unit,
The display is awesome.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Went out tonight to get a couple of things at the grocery store, they're pretty well stocked, about as well as they have been in the past 18 months. The malls were insane earlier so I decided to go to the beach instead and went back tonight to the grocery stores at 8 pm, only a couple of people in each one but no mushrooms at either store.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 8:35 pm Kudos to all those members keeping there ears and eyes open to want theyVe seen or heard helps us all as we swimthrough this event.
This pic is from Davis Bay a couple of days ago. The sky was incredible so I stopped to take a picture. Went to Secret Beach today, should be called not-so-secret beach with a big sign like that.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Looks like a period of cold drizzle and big mountain snow is emerging in the L R. Very unfortunate that we get an atmospheric river pattern first, starting the snowpack from scratch again, not to mention flooding concerns.

I love fog and the way the trees fade away into it.PortKells wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:10 pm Already grasping at straws here but this is the run to run change in the GEM ensemble. The European authorities have spoken. Cool northwest flow with potential for fringe snowfalls, especially in pomo-land.

Surprisingly we didn't lose all the snowpack above 800m with the last AR. It was cut in half though.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I mean I looked at the Sasquatch and cypress webcams at the top of the mountain and the snow left was incredibly sad looking. I just hope we can be done with this stupid AR pattern after November ends and get going with our mountains and focusing on potential fun stuff.

Fog is like a consolation prize, eh? It's cool but ..not that cool. The view on the highway 15 on ramp to highway 1 has incredible views of maple ridge when it's foggy.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:31 pm I love fog and the way the trees fade away into it.
