GFS has consistently shown we'll remain in a seasonably coolish pattern (NW flow) beginning late week onwards, with various pulses of modified arctic air into the interior. Hopefully no more huge freezing level spikes and AR events for a long while after Wednesday.

Not necessarily.

I'd be interested to know how reliable the ICON actually is in comparison to the GEM and RGEM. Does anyone have any thoughts?

And the GEM is virtually the opposite. So strange how this battle carries out seemingly year after year.
