Don’t feel bad. They are suing the taxpayers for negligence by not letting them know sooner the flood was coming.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:18 pm Remember we joked about skating on the Sumas prairie, l feel bad for owners unable clean up under frozen fields and snow.

Re: December 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Good thing the global economy doesn't use processes that inadvertently create extreme weather patterns that will eventually disrupt itself to the point of its own demise. Such as for example, the lack of snow in certain places leading to crop failures and other fun stuff, or the success of things like invasive species that destroy our provinces biggest resource sector.Radar wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:47 pm I like snow sometimes. Problem I have is it is expensive. People get hurt in it. Roads suck. No sidewalks for pedestrians. Work slows down. Not much to do. Things just less productive and it affects our economy. But in Covid when people need to stop partying, a good meter of snow might be a good thing.
Otherwise, I would have to point out that mentioning negative affects of the economy is a silly reason to think snow is somehow bad.

I'm sorry everybody there should've known they were building on what nature intended as a lake. Extreme rain was inevitable.
Having said that the BC government have some major issues with disaster preparedness in a disaster prone province. They will cost us money over lawsuits.
