Don’t feel bad. They are suing the taxpayers for negligence by not letting them know sooner the flood was coming.

Good thing the global economy doesn't use processes that inadvertently create extreme weather patterns that will eventually disrupt itself to the point of its own demise. Such as for example, the lack of snow in certain places leading to crop failures and other fun stuff, or the success of things like invasive species that destroy our provinces biggest resource sector.

Otherwise, I would have to point out that mentioning negative affects of the economy is a silly reason to think snow is somehow bad.

Good points That why l always enjoyed snow more on weekends and holiday's, you'd have to agree this event happened at a optimum time lots of ppl off work now.

I'm sorry everybody there should've known they were building on what nature intended as a lake. Extreme rain was inevitable.

Having said that the BC government have some major issues with disaster preparedness in a disaster prone province. They will cost us money over lawsuits.
