That was terrible; -6 to +8 in a matter of hours, plus the heavy rain.

Yeah, remember that event was in Richmond for the holidays with my parent's, definitely observed the warm up before anywhere else, l remember checking the temperature in Bellingham rising quite quickly. The transition was swift indeed l tecall the last precip type was snow grains.

l was in Maple Ridge at the time l thought we had a brief rain event around the 27th or 28th? not sure yes shoveling was a chore indeed.

I will be slightly sad when these cold temps disappear and are replaced with highs in the -5C to 0C range. Guess I need to move more north.

There was about five days with rain at the end of December. There was a bit more snow in early Jan, but I don't count that as part of the main event.
