Yeah, remember that event was in Richmond for the holidays with my parent's, definitely observed the warm up before anywhere else, l remember checking the temperature in Bellingham rising quite quickly. The transition was swift indeed l tecall the last precip type was snow grains.

A few notches cooler.

I will counter this by opening all my doors and windows and cranking up the furnace.

Did we not have a very brief rain event in 2008? Can remember shoveling for the 50th time with a little drizzle.

My thought Moon person is the models are having a difficult time with the cold air source being close by IMO.

I'm still trying to figure out why a winter storm warning for 2cm of snow for the central fraser valley, that’s what EC say's. :?

Yum

I will be slightly sad when these cold temps disappear and are replaced with highs in the -5C to 0C range. Guess I need to move more north. :wtf:
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

There was about five days with rain at the end of December. There was a bit more snow in early Jan, but I don't count that as part of the main event.
