It just didn't last long enough, the sun came out the next day and started melting it really fast. I would really love to see an intense 2002 style blast, we haven't had something like that in March in 20 years now.
We had a week of mostly cold/clear conditions before that snowstorm too. With some snow on the ground that fell when the initial arctic front pushed through the mainland.

12z ECMWF.

Monday morning thru Wednesday morning. Decent push of modified arctic air that morphs into a backdoor blast.

I wouldn't have known except for this forum. EC has nothing, -1 and clear on Monday, otherwise all above 0.

Come on snow!!!! :flakey: :flakey: I could do without the cold though, first lambs are arriving beginning of March, carefully planned so I don't have to stand around in the freezing barn waiting for them. May not have worked out this year...

Diet Pepsi in between the taste of all fellow groggers. 8-) end of the ZEURO looks like a flat transitory ridge then lots of energy up stream could be good for mountain snow finally.
