The location in your profile still says “Chilliwack (South Sardis).”
It's called clown range for a reason.

Technically you only need M&S as long as it has 3.5mm of tread

Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

EC's forecast was 30-50 mm for Coquitlam area from yesterday night to this evening.

We had... 6-10 mm, just saying. :14clown:

i go up there all the time. I switch over when the weather looks sketchy for snow...usually mid to late October, depending of course. If it is gonna be like H20c and L5c in the Similks, i switch the next trip up. I mean, Oct 1 is only 1 day past September right
But yes, def better use snow tires with good tread. I find most good snow tires lose their magnetic grip after 2 full seasons of use, no matter how much tread is left.

Drive safe buttees

The law says you must have winter tires past Hope and past the first of this month, but I ignore it in the fall if I’m heading up the Fraser Canyon and there’s no sea-level (or near-sea-level) :flakey: on the horizon. It’s not like they’ll have checkpoints or anything.

Perhaps in the U.S. perhaps Trump will sign an executive order on mandatory winter tires Rubes. :wtf:
