Brisk cold front passes through the area tomorrow with showers and NW winds, clearing overnight into Saturday morning with a hard freeze possible. Breezy outflow on Saturday, drawing from the modified arctic airmass moving into the southern interior. Lots of sunshine and highs in the 1-3c range for most of the Lower Mainland.

Doesn't get me excited. I need a December 1996, January 1954, or March 1951 repeat!

Low 1.9C here, looks like I'm ending the year without a single freeze unless a miracle happens on Friday night.
Merry Christmas.
Pretty confident you'll see a freeze on Friday and/or Saturday night(s).
Merry Christmas everyone!
It's currently -8.0C with a windchill of -18C in Ottawa. Snow depth around 17cm. I don't want to wait until the spring of 2027 to move here.

What are the chances of a stray snow flurry somewhere Saturday into Sunday?
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Good in the far Eastern Valley where I think they could pick up 2cm. Much like yesterday, the 'moisture cuts off before the cold air arrives ®' and the brisk NW winds will immediately dry us out.
