Yeah, any time there is a slight inversion (which seems like most of the time) it doesn't take much wind to prevent a freeze.HarrisonSasquatchWx wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 10:53 am Yeah a tad bit insane Abby sr. seems Mission east is a no go zone for frost so far this season. It's weird it seems the wind has kept temperatures up during the clear mornings dang.

At least we are seeing sunshine?Canada Goose wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 1:13 pm The good news? Lack of rain (4th driest November than normal in a row), no snow and that would be good news?
It really feels like we have lost November as a dynamic weather month. We either see warm advection rains that don't amount to much or penetrate the coastal ranges, "dry" split flow or the odd Atmospheric river. No more significant storms or temperature swings. I would say even early December has become boring as well.
Also looks like we will be in a moderately strong +ENSO state in 2026.

My complaint exactly. November used to feature fairly dynamic weather around here. But it's been calm and boring for the most part as of recent.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 12:43 pm At least we are seeing sunshine?

Re: November 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
We thought that last year as well, but the opposite materialized. I'm not sure that even the 3-7 year period for enso is stable any more, in a rapidly warming climate. Everything is more volatile, when looking too far ahead. For comparison, here are last year's November models and this year's November models:wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 12:43 pm

Not at all. February is by far the driest month of the rainy season (Oct. - March). Recent Februaries were cold and snowy. We're just looking for rainy months.

Ya, we expect you will post photos when the lake starts to freeze. Better find some cool spots to get photos from.HarrisonSasquatchWx wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 12:31 pm Well at least l have this to view @ the lake in Harrison.
There used to be a cafe in Harrison I visited 2 times and they had the best cream of mushroom soup. Not sure the name, I have not been in Harrison for many years. So it's probably gone.

Perhaps the lagoon could, it would be epic if the lake froze to much wind l'm guessing to keep it from freezing Houndy.Hound wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 5:22 pm Ya, we expect you will post photos when the lake starts to freeze. Better find some cool spots to get photos from.
