That was for our old climate. A mild November bodes well for a mild December and January but also a cold February.

Looks like another SSW mid month. This time it’s a Siberian event. FWIW, Siberian warmings as of recent have had a solid success rate in sending arctic air into SWBC/PNW. We will see if that trend continues.

Next Friday is the one to watch for a significant and long lasting snowstorm for the central interior and north coast. Battleground regions between the arctic air to the north and the AR to the south.
So far it looks like Washington and Oregon will take the brunt of the AR’s. But they can shift in track quickly so still some uncertainty.
