Something I noticed is the models are starting to prop up a West Coast Ridge in the mid-long range which finally dislodges the cold in the Yukon. Looks like it's headed East.
Multi-week ridging was bound to happen after all the wet weather. Onwards to late Jan or Early Feb?

Decent mixing could lead to some days of filtered sunshine too.
I would hope to just have an extended period of dry so I can prep the garden for spring. Weeds have still been growing this month.

They were talking about the wind on the US forum. There seems to be some disagreement on its track. I could do without a repeat of November 19 2024.

Track right now looks incredibly bad for Southern Metro Vancouver. Incredibly tight pressure field with that low rapidly streaming from the southern. The WRF is showing 100-110kph gusts for Western Metro Van but I suspect this may be underdone.

Not the track of our usually bad wind storms. If it does happen at least this shows it as very short lived.
