Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
The models have been struggling lately. I think at 1500 m at this time of the year you should be fine..hopefully flurries and nice new fresh recent snowsCanada Goose wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2025 7:00 pm GFS is quite juicy next week (after Sunday 16). Even the ECMWF shows some rain.
Please just tell me it's not gonna rain at 1,500 m on the 16/17th...
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

When the 850s are sitting at the bottom, there's unfortunately only one way they can go and that is up.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 6:33 am 00z GFS ensembles:

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
for the short/mid range from the NWS:
Lots of variability in the forecast for Thursday night into
Friday as the low weakens and moves inland over Oregon.
If the models are struggling trying to figure out whats going down in 3 days, how do the models know whats happening in the 12-15 day period?
Happy Monday John!

Good mountain snow run on the euro. Not sure if it's happening or not but I'd love to go powder skiing soon.

Looks like cold will dominate out Eastward with a potential SSW event that favours E based cold until mid March.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 10:43 am Kinda sucks when the forum goes quiet may not see many members till next season.![]()
We could see a very warm and dry period until maybe late March and April. The Euro spat out some mid teens temps with sunshine
